Azizah holds a degree in Town & Regional Planning from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Her professional experiences transcend multiple disciplines: urban development, city resilience and urban mobility.
She has been involved in developing a public transportation master plan for Shah Alam and conducting studies in public transportation with a focus on designing bus routes, micromobility infrastructure and enhancing public satisfaction. She also involved in preparing Sustainable Urban Transport Index (SUTI) for Shah Alam collaborating with UiTM and UNESCAP. Currently she works in Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam as an Assistant Director at the Urban Transportation Department. Her vision is to raise collective awareness and responsibilities towards our built environment, and to create healthy, safe, and inclusive cities for all.
