Marcus Mak

Marcus joined Volvo Malaysia Sdn Bhd as General Manager for Volvo Bus Malaysia division on 2022. He has been a valued member of the Volvo Group family in Singapore for more than 10 years and a seasoned veteran with many years of Sales and Aftersales Service work experience in the Automotive related industries.

Marcus holds a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Sunderland, UK. He began his career in the Automotive sector since 1995 and has never cease on building a diversity of skill and knowledge in the areas of Sales, Aftersales Service and Operations management.

Marcus has held management or supervisory roles in his previous jobs with Tan Chong Industrial Machinery Singapore, Robert Bosch Authorised Fuel injection service center and Generator Sales & Service before joining the Volvo Group Singapore as a Truck Dealer Manager in 2013. He continues to develop his capabilities and leadership skills by moving to Volvo Bus Singapore as a Senior Regional Technical Service Manager for APAC Central region in 2017.

Marcus’ career in Volvo has been an exciting one and continues with him taking on a bigger role in Malaysia since 2022. He oversees the entire business operations of Volvo Bus in Malaysia. With a wealth of experience in sales and aftersales operations, he will continue to grow the Volvo brand and elevate the customer experiences to a greater height.
