Muhammad Yazurin Sallij

Muhammad Yazurin Sallij was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd on 3 September 2018. He was previously Head of Rapid Ferry, which is a newly formed subsidiary of Prasarana, established to spearhead the group’s foray into the water transportation business.

Prior to his appointment to Rapid Ferry in April 2017, he was attached at Rapid Bus as Executive Vice President of the Performance and Strategy, which he established with the objective of enhancing the company’ performance capability. His career with Prasarana started in February 2010 when he was appointed as Rapid KL’s Head of Bus Planning and Development.

A graduate in Commerce, Accounting & Finance from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, he started his career as an Audit Executive at HBN Management Sdn Bhd, an internal audit outfit of the Renong Group of Companies. Yazurin then built his career with Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan Berhad (PLUS), undertaking various roles covering operations, management, strategy and business development. He was also posted to Mumbai, India to set up PLUS' first overseas subsidiary, PLUS BKSP Toll Limited.
